Sowing Advice

Given good conditions for germination, we are confident that you will be delighted with the results from our seeds, Sowing too deep can lead to germination failure as the seed can run out of energy before the shoot reaches the surface. Most seeds need covering with soil or compost. The soil should be warm, well drained yet moist and free from weeds. Rake your soil to a fine, crumbly surface, mix Agro peat with soil (ratio 50:50), then sow-seeds in the mixture. Seeds need sunlight and heat to germinate. So, ensure that the location they are placed in, gives them good access to both these elements. Temperatures too high, as well as too low can inhibit germination
